Synthetic bone grafts

Bone grafts are used as a filler and scaffold to facilitate bone formation and promote wound healing. 
Synthetic bone graft substitutes for a number of applications, including spine, extremities and dental.
It is biodegradable and will gradually be replaced by new formed bone tissue.
 
Bioceramics, such as beta tricalcium phosphate and hydroxyapatite, bioactive glass and other osteoconductive materials are used in the repair and regeneration of bone defects, that have developed from disease or due to trauma.
